Swordfish: Gabriel Shear, Swordfish, knows where there is a lot of money. The problem is that it is in cyberspace. To steal it, he kidnaps former super hacker Stanley Jobson. He then pressures Stanley to comply, or suffer consequences.

Downhill: This film charts a gentleman's spiritual skid, beginning while, as a schoolboy, he is disowned by his family after an indiscretion with a gal, and later as an adult while his spouse wastes away his inheritance. Lesser Hitchcock film still shows the master's visual ability. Cast includes Ivor Novello, Ben Webster, Robin Irvine, Sybil Rhoda, Lillian Braithwaite, Isabel Pants, and Ian Hunter. See you in the Morning: Bridges and Krige follow a difficult journey to a second matrimony for both of them, trying to delete poor memories and lingering complications and having to triumph over each other's youngsters. Overall knowledge, warmth, and gentility are expressed in this relationship film. Cast includes Jeff Bridges, Alice Krige, Farrah Fawcett, Linda Lavin, Drew Barrymore, and Robin Bartlett. (119 minutes, 1989)

Hills Have Eyes Part 2: Lame continuation has a group of motocross fanatics stranded in the desert, preyed upon by a primitive family. This is loaded with flashback footage from the 1977 film, containing one ludicrously alleging to be a memory by a dog. Cast includes Michael Berryman, John Laughin, Tamara Stafford, Kevin Blair, and John Bloom. (88 minutes, 1985)

Time Machine: Inventor Alexander Hartedegen believes that time travel is possible. When he suffers the loss of a loved one to a tragic death, he is now determined to back in time to change the events. He rushes his invention, and makes an attempt at time travel. The only problem is that he winds up 800,000 years into the future.

The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King: The capital of Gondor is under attack, and the battle for Middle Earth is on. Sauron, the dark one, is gaining power, and his victory seems certain. Gandalf and the other fight on with the only hope lying in the efforts of two little Hobbits. Frodo, and his lifelong friend Sam are battling their way to Mount Doom in order to destroy the One Ring, the ring that give Sauron his great power. Their success or failure will determine the fate of Middle Earth.

Black like Me: Powerful drama based on real history of journalist who took drugs that permitted him to pass for black so he might experience racial prejudice first hand. Some facets of presentation are un-contemporary, although topics are still pertinent. Cast includes James Whitmore, Roscoe Lee Browne, Lenka Petersen, Sorrell Booke, Can Geer, Al Freeman, and Raymond Jacques. (107 minutes, 1964)

So Big: Disheartening adaptation of Edna Ferber's legend of an orphaned gal who turns into a schoolteacher in the middle of a farming town and raises her child to strive for a better life. Cast includes Barbara Stanwyck, George Brent, Dickie Moore, Guy Kibbee, Bette Davis, and Mac Madison. (80 minutes, 1932)
